Coastal Cleanup Day 9.25 2010

Lost Coast Culture Machine is proud to be the beach captain for Coastal Cleanup Day at Blues Beach/Chadbourne Gulch this Saturday, September 25th from 9am to Noon.

Once the cleanup is over and before the junk is recycled, we plan to use the collected trash to create a site-specific art installation.  We’re thinking of something Andy Goldsworthy-esque, if Andy Goldsworthy were trashy.  We’ll need some collaborators, so come lend some ideas!… Read More

Seed Bombs! (past)

Lost Coast Culture Machine has been making seedbombs with the native plants on the Mendocino coast. These seedbombs are made with locally harvested, native plant seed that was generously donated by the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens for our project.
